16 Teams from every corner of the globe came together to compete in the 2002 World Beer Games in Toronto, Canada. They each came armed with a deep sense of national pride, an unwavering will to win, and most importantly - a profound love of beer.

It was very hard for this team to pick a captain because, in their own words- "everyone is too good at everything". Those are bold words, but this team has the guts (literally) to back it up. They are driven, they are focused, and they have come to the WBG to win. more>>


These Greek Gods are ready to climb Mount Olympus and partake in the nectar of the Gods: Beer. They plan to intimidate other teams with their intense attitude, and polysyllabic names. OPA!!  more>>


Outgoing and friendly, this fun-loving South American team showed early on that they are true sportsmen by volunteering to help out Team Trinidad during practices. Let's see if the good karma pays off with good results. more>>


The "'Fighting Irish" are here with one goal in mind- win the GOLD! There's both personal and national pride at stake here, and the Irish don't plan to go home disappointed.   more>>

One of the largest teams here. In true Island spirit, this group bonded instantly and became an instant force to be reckoned with. Can they win? - "No Problem, Mon". more>>


This hyped & stylish group is energetic, friendly, good looking, and filled with team spirit. Party-boys by night, they take their training seriously and that's going to make them very hard to keep up with.  more>>


The Polish team features a group of guys who were "born for drinking." Athletic and strong willed, this team seems like a pretty safe bet to make it to the podium. more>>


An exciting group to watch. This team is a bit of a family affair- it includes a pair of identical twins and their cousin. The team boasts movie star good looks and they're hoping for a Hollywood ending at the WBG more>>


This team had to go though a series of rigorous qualification rounds to prove they were the best in South Korea. Now, at the WBG, they will try to prove they are the best of the BEST.   more>>


The carnival vibe is strong on the Trini team. They truly are where the party begins and ends. They are one of the smaller teams, but what they lack in numbers, they make up for in determination.  more>>
