Pint Curl
In this event individual athletes slide 3 - 20 oz. pint glasses with 16 oz. of beer down a 16 foot curling bar attempting to score the highest cumulative point score as designated by the point zone of the curling bar.
The following rules apply to Pint Curl:
A. Official glass is 20 fluid ounces.
B. Official amount of beer in glass is 16 fluid ounces.
C. Each round is scored by three throws.
D. Table will be prepared with silicone sand by WBG official between rounds.
E. Liquid, which spills on table during round, may be cleaned at the request of the athlete.
F. Thrown glasses must remain on table until three throw round is complete.
G. Official curling surface is 16 feet long.
H. Glasses must be released behind ‘throw’ line.
I. Point zones are 1, 3,5 and 10 and 20 points for a “Hanger”.
J. If any part of a glass is across the next highest point line, the higher point amount is scored.
